With extensive industry experience and proficiency in dealing with the applicable regulatory agencies, we represent sponsors, developers and lenders with interests in the structure and offering of condominium and cooperative developments, including preparation of offering plans, no-action letter and similar regulatory exemption applications, documentation and financing of whole ownership and fractional ownership offerings and related interests, both within and outside the State of New York.
Our specific services have included:
- Representing sponsors of cooperative and condominium offerings involving residential, commercial and mixed-use projects, leasehold condominiums and fractional interest projects within and outside New York State, including associated services such as sales and marketing agreements, budget and property report analysis
- Representing borrowers and lenders to developers of proposed and existing condominium and cooperative projects, including acquisition, construction, mezzanine and permanent financing
- Conveyancing of all types of real property, including the acquisition and sale of packages of diverse portfolio assets
- Structuring and documentation of private equity offerings involving assets intended for condominium or cooperative development
