We had a speaker alongside his friend and client, Omri Dor of Obligo, on a webinar panel called “Security Deposits & COVID: What Apartment Landlords Need to Know.” Together they addressed questions surrounding the recently-issued Executive Orders of New York and New Jersey that allow tenants to apply security deposits to rent – specifically, how landlords can comply while protecting their portfolio as well as leasing vacant units.
