NYC Rent Guidelines Board Reaches Final Vote On Annual Rent Increases For Rent Stabilized Apartment And Loft Leases

Last night, the New York City Rent Guidelines Board (“RGB”) held a final vote on annual rent increases for rent stabilized apartment and loft leases commencing between October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027.

The final adopted Guideline increases are as follows:

  1. 1 year lease: 0%
  2. 2 year lease: 0%

Hotel guidelines remain at 0%.

Also note that DHCR has issued new renewal lease forms and rent stabilization riders which must be used going forward.  They can be obtained here:
