Adam Lindenbaum was invited to speak at a Public Hearing held by the Mayor’s Office of Special Enforcement addressing Local Law 18, which will tighten restrictions on the short-term residential rental market in an attempt to restore NYC’s stock of affordable housing to permanent residents. While expressing concerns of landlords, owners and long-term residents who have endured negative consequences of short-term rental platforms like Airbnb and VRBO, Adam voiced support of LL18 as a potential solution for curbing tenant abuses of short rental activity.
