Rosenberg & Estis, P.C. Announces Charles ‘Chip’ Pierce, Jr. To Join Firm As Head Of Construction Law Department

Prominent NYC attorney will lead firm’s growing construction practice

 

Rosenberg & Estis, P.C., a leading New York City real estate law firm, has announced that veteran New York City construction attorney Charles “Chip” R. Pierce, Jr. will join the firm as a Member.

Pierce, a veteran litigator with deep experience in construction-related issues, will head Rosenberg & Estis’ growing Construction Law Department as the company strengthens its position as a leader in comprehensive real estate legal services.

During his 30-year career in construction law, Pierce has counseled a wide range of construction industry clients – including owners, developers, construction managers, contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, architects, engineers and designers – in their business dealings and contractual relationships.

He has worked with the nation’s most prominent property owners in asset acquisitions, sales and development, and construction contract negotiation. He also has represented clients in complex dispute resolution, including mediation, litigation and arbitration.

A trained mediator and frequent lecturer on construction law topics, Pierce is a Fellow of the Construction Law Society of America (CLSA), and is widely recognized for his accomplishments within the real estate industry and the legal profession.

Prior to joining Rosenberg & Estis, Pierce was a Partner with Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP for nine years. He began his legal career with Shea & Gould after graduating Washington and Lee University School of Law cum laude and Order of the Coif. Pierce ran his own eponymous firm for 13 years after working at Baer Marks & Upham as well as Zetlin & De Chiara LLP.
