Silverbush To Discuss Pets In New York Housing At Real Property Law Section Meeting

Bradley Silverbush, member, of law firm Rosenberg & Estis, P.C., is a featured speaker in a panel discussion at the annual meeting of the New York State Bar Association’s Real Property Law Section’s Committee on Landlord Tenant Proceedings. The October 15, 2015, seminar, titled “Reasonable Accommodations for Animals in Housing,” will address reasonable accommodation requests involving animals in residential buildings, including public, private, condominium and cooperative units.

Topics will include what city, state and federal laws require; what owners and boards can and cannot do; and what owners and boards should do to insulate themselves from potential liability. Darryl M. Vernon, partner, with law firm Vernon & Ginsburg LLP will also speak at the event. The Committee on Landlord Tenant Proceedings was formed to educate the bar regarding current and prospective developments that affect landlord/tenant proceedings.
