Rosenberg & Estis Promotes Eric Orenstein to Partner

Rosenberg & Estis, P.C. announced that Eric Orenstein was promoted to a partner of the law firm.

Orenstein, 32, joined Rosenberg & Estis as an associate in 2005. He represents owners and developers of commercial properties in the New York tri-state area, providing legal services in all aspects of real estate including leasing, development, financing and purchase and sale transactions.

Orenstein will continue to represent lenders and borrowers in financing transactions and workouts of loans on troubled assets. In the past six years, he has completed approximately $1 billion in financing transactions and another $350 million in construction loans. Orenstein worked closely with lenders and borrowers on creative solutions to restructure loans and rework the debt on troubled real estate assets to avoid the lengthy and costly foreclosure and bankruptcy process.

Orenstein received a bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University of the State University of New York. He received his juris doctorate from Hofstra School of Law. Orenstein is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association and is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
