Roya Imani joined Rosenberg & Estis, P.C. in 2021 and is an associate with the firm's Transactions and Bankruptcy Departments. Ms. Imani's practice focuses on a variety of corporate financial restructuring matters and commercial real estate matters, including Chapter 11 filings, financings, purchase & sale transactions, and construction and development-related agreements.
Prior to joining Rosenberg & Estis, Ms. Imani served as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert E. Grossman of the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Stacey L. Meisel for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.
As a judicial law clerk, Ms. Imani gained extensive experience on financial restructuring matters and cross-border proceedings. Ms. Imani also gained extensive drafting experience, including the drafting of orders related to preference actions, stipulation of settlements, fraudulent transfers, and motion to compel discovery, along with published and oral opinions and memoranda disposing of contested motions in both adversary proceedings and underlying bankruptcy petitions.
