Daniel C. Gibbons

Daniel C. Gibbons joined Rosenberg & Estis, P.C. in 2025 and is Counsel with the firm’s Litigation Department.

Dan is an accomplished trial attorney and seasoned litigator who has represented clients in courts and venues across the country in various complex commercial disputes. Dan is well regarded for his rational approach and measured advice and he is known for his ability to take complex concepts and reduce them into understandable language. Dan draws on his extensive prior experience, which enables him to understand the needs and objectives of his clients, provide sound legal and business advice, and effectively represent them in court.

Prior to joining Rosenberg & Estis, Dan was the head of litigation for a large national healthcare organization. He was responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s commercial disputes across the country, devising and implementing the organization’s litigation strategy, and working closely with outside counsel. 

Prior to going in-house at his longtime client, Dan was a Partner at a large international law firm where he successfully tried cases and represented high profile and prominent corporate clients in all manner of commercial disputes.

NOTABLE WORK

• Prevailed at trial with multi-million-dollar damages award on hospital’s counterclaims and successfully dismissed claims brought former management company
• Prevailed at trial with multi-million-dollar damages award for commercial property owner involving real property dispute and alleged adverse possession claims
• Successfully enforced and defended numerous restrictive covenant disputes involving employees of commercial clients
• Successfully defended media production and distribution companies in commercial dispute involving fraud and quantum meruit claims
• Successfully prosecuted action for large beverage distributor against foreign supplier involving breach of distribution agreement and conflict of law issues
• Defeated claims asserted by medical practice against large health system and hospital and in connection with the termination of exclusive services agreement
