Alex B. Pia joined Rosenberg & Estis, P.C. in 2018 and is a Juris Doctor with the firm’s Litigation Department.
Mr. Pia’s experience includes research and motion practice concerning substantive and procedural issues related to complex partnership disputes, eminent domain issues, equitable relief in commercial purchase and renewal options, landlord-tenant disputes and NYC rent-control related matters.  Additionally, he has drafted policy documents for commercial and residential developers.
Before coming to Rosenberg & Estis, Mr. Pia served as a judicial intern in Judge Katherine Levine’s chambers at the Kings County Supreme Court, Civil Term, a Sparer Fellow with the Criminal Defense Practice at Brooklyn Defender Services and an intern with the Criminal Trial Practice at The Legal Aid Society of New York City.  At Brooklyn Law School, Mr. Pia was an assistant managing editor of the Brooklyn Law Review.
Mr. Pia worked at Rosenberg & Estis as a law clerk before becoming a Juris Doctor.
