Amy MacSporran joined Rosenberg & Estis, P.C. in 2015 and is an associate in the firm's Transactional Department.  Ms. MacSporran’s practice involves representing seller, buyers and equity investors in real estate acquisitions and dispositions, representing borrowers and lenders in all types of real estate related financings, including construction financing, and mezzanine lending and representing landlords and tenants in commercial and retail leasing matters. 

Notable work:

  • Represented a major NYC based private equity fund on the sale of four (4) senior living facilities located in Michigan, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Alabama for a total sale price of $180,000,000.
  • Represented a major developer in the $125 million acquisition of apartment buildings in downtown Manhattan.
  • Represented the seller in connection with the $270M disposition of a 289-unit Midtown Manhattan apartment building with 16,000 square feet of ground floor retail and office space.
  • Represented a major NYC based private equity fund in connection with the refinance of a 251,316 square foot shopping center in Texas home to over 50 local and national retail tenants
  • Represented major Australian Bank in the disposal of distressed debt portfolio consisting of four loans with a face value of $156 million from the commercial property loan portfolio to US based investment bank Goldman Sachs.
  • Represented large Australian hospital, comprising of seven hospital facilities and a variety of health care centers, assisting with the management of hospital leasing portfolio consisting of both retail and commercial premises.
  • Represented private Australian company in the asset sale of 9000 Hectare coal mine in Queensland, to ASX listed company.
  • Represented large New Zealand based Property investment fund on the acquisition of a large marina in Queensland consisting of 281 wet berths, commercial office space and a resort.

Ms. MacSporran received a bachelor’s degree in Business and her J.D. from Queensland University of Technology, where she graduated with Honors.  Ms. MacSporran is licensed to practice law in New York.  

Prior to joining Rosenberg & Estis, Ms. MacSporran was an attorney with Australian law firm DibbsBarker. Earlier, Ms. MacSporran was an associate with DibbsBarker, and prior to that, a legal intern with Queensland based Barristers Chambers More Chambers.
