Nithin Jayadeva joined Rosenberg & Estis, P.C. in 2014 and is an associate with the firm’s Litigation Department. Mr. Jayadeva’s practice involves all aspects of landlord-tenant disputes, quiet title actions and contract disputes. Mr. Jayadeva has extensive experience in real estate litigation and handling all aspects of residential and commercial landlord-tenant cases, from drafting the predicate notice and petition to court appearances and trial and drafting an array of agreements, such as settlement agreements, relocation agreements and lease termination agreements.
· Successfully drafted a motion for summary judgment to quiet title to a building encumbered with mortgages.
· Drafted a motion for summary judgment seeking use and occupancy and a judgment of possession against a commercial holdover tenant.
· Calculated and negotiated a $1 MM+ partial settlement for holdover use and occupancy damages.
Mr. Jayadeva received a bachelor’s degree in business administration, magna cum laude, in 2006 from Boston University’s School of Management and earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2014. Mr. Jayadeva is licensed to practice law in New York.
Prior to joining Rosenberg & Estis, Mr. Jayadeva served as an intern at the law firm while completing his J.D. Earlier, Mr. Jayadeva was a summer associate for Meltzer, Lippe, Goldstein & Breitstone LLP, a legal intern at Sydell Group Ltd. and a clinic intern at Brooklyn Law School’s Real Estate Clinic. Previously, Mr. Jayadeva was the Managing Member of Paradise Hospitality Group, where he also served as the General Manager of the Best Western Grand Venice Hotel in Hagerstown, Maryland.
