Adam Hirst joined Rosenberg & Estis, P.C. in 2015 and is an associate with the firm’s Transactional Department.  Mr. Hirst's practice involves representing borrowers and lenders in all types of real estate related financings, including senior mortgage, construction financing, preferred equity and mezzanine lending, counseling buyers, sellers, equity investors and developers in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, developments and financings for a variety of asset classes, including multi-family and apartment buildings, hotels, retail centers, and other mixed use centers, as well as representing owners and tenants in commercial leasing matters. 

Notable Work

  • Represented a major NYC lender in connection with construction/bridge financing across the U.S.
  • Represented a major NYC developer in all phases of its acquisition and financing of 80,000 square feet of buildable residential space in Harlem.
  • Represented a major NYC developer in all phases of its acquisition, financing and development of large-scale residential space in Brooklyn.
  • Represented a major NYC based private equity fund on the sale of four (4) senior living facilities located in Michigan, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Alabama for a total sale price of $180,000,000.
  • Represented subsidiaries of a Chicago REIT in the sales of GSA-leased properties in Maryland and Virginia.
  • Represented a major NYC developer in connection with the sale of a portfolio of residential buildings in Greenwich Village.
  • Represented the affiliate of a major US developer in the sale of membership interests in a global brand to a US REIT.  
  • Represented Cornell University for its Weill Cornell Medical College in a 55,000 s/f expansion and amendment of its lease of 85,000 square feet within a condominium structure.

Mr. Hirst earned his bachelor’s degree from Yale University and earned his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University, where he was an associate editor of the Cardozo Arts & Entertainment Law Journal. Mr. Hirst is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.

Prior to joining Rosenberg & Estis, Mr. Hirst was an associate with an AmLaw 100 firm. During law school, Mr. Hirst worked at Ackman-Ziff Real Estate Group, in the Counsel's Office of the Governor of New Jersey and for the Attorney General of the State of Colorado.

Mr. Hirst serves on the boards of JOIN Israel, the Jewish National Fund, ServiceCorps and Chabad of Cardozo.
